Wouldn't that then leave the shower open onto the vanity etc? Ours has the screen between the shower & vanity, with it open to the bath. The main reason we decided to go with this design is because I wanted the bath under the window and the toilet at the other end of the bathroom. As it will be the only bath in our house, when we have kids they will use this bath - and as such I wanted to make sure that I had full access to the whole bath. If the shower was fully enclosed, I would have had limited access to the end of the bath. Regarding it being cold - I wil admit I'm a bit worried about this... but I'm getting underfloor heating installed, so hopefully that will help make the whole bathroom nice and warm. Your shower screen has failed in the way it is designed to fail with tempered glass.
