I'm at the stage of choosing the taps and I wonder if it makes any sense to pay more (in some cases 100%) for ceramic cartridge versions. I've had an early dorf ceramic tap set in my old bathroom and it's causing me constant problems , from frequent leaking, to jamming spindles. And each time I have to fix it I have to fork out $20 for the whole kit, even though I may need only an O ring. BTW, DW hates mixers, so we're going all taps everywhere.
