However, our next door neighbour had her bathroom done by them and she was very pleased with them. I was amazed at how quick they were. This was about 3 years ago. Have a great weekend Jas Re: Bathroom Renovation Recommendations Sutherland (Sydney) 8Jun 23, 2012 7:59 am Anyone had a bathroom done recently in the shire? Am looking at having my first floor bathroom floor pulled up and relaid due to cracking. Also new loo, vanity, shower screen, maps. Plumbing to remain in same spot. Do I need a Reno company or could my local plumber organism this? Am I mad to not do the whole bathroom not just the floor? Bathroom is 12yrs old. Wall tiles are in great condition and dont look dated If not for the cracked floor would not do anything at this time though the colour of the floor tiles isn't great. Appreciate any suggestions/input on this! Re: Bathroom Renovation Recommendations Sutherland (Sydney) 9Jun 27, 2012 10:33 am Ok. If no one can recommend a company for my bathroom can someone tell me what trades I can get to do the work. I need to pull up the floor in the bathroom (it's on the first floor). Shower recess has a crack in it and so far waterproofing has held but need to get something done and make sure there is no rot underneath the tiles. Then need waterproofing done, floor retailed as well as new toilet installed. I have zero experience with bathrooms. So who can I getmtomthis this if not a company? Who can pull up the chip board and floor tiles? Can a tiler do the waterproofing as well as the tiling? I can get my own plumber in to install the toilet as well as the vanity then someone to do the showermscreen. I just don't know who to get to do the rest. Then, I still have to weight up whether I should do the whole bathroom. Any suggestions welcome. I recently went through a similar renovation and move scenario when updating our family home.
