We are having SUCH problems with plugs for our bathroom sinks!
We have tried so many different types of plug in both sinks, and none will hold the water for longer than about 10 minutes.
Our plug holes are apparently standard, and the old plugs we had here originally (that also don’t work) are 40mm. We tried new 40mm ones in 2 styles (the flexible suction type ones that overlap the plug hole and the firmer ones that sit in the hole but don’t overlap), and both didn’t work, and actually seemed to be about 1mm out, as there was a tiny bit of space around the circumference of the hole. As a result, the water would slowly seep out before our eyes.
So we went back and got 41mm ones, again in both styles. Again, neither worked, despite the fact there was no hole and when we removed the softer suction type one, it made a little pop noise. And yet, the water just wouldn’t stay in!
I remember the day when you had to really try hard to pull out a plug from a sink of water. How do I get this again!? We need reliable plugs so we can keep our bathroom sinks half full of water for many hours at a time, as one of our kittens keeps going to the toilet in the sink. (but he won’t go when the sink has water in it)
Help!? lol
