Yep, they can get it, but not likely a standard stock item depending on the store. Can't help with price sorry.

Handshower on wall bracket for me, and will put one on the rail for the kids so they can have a kiddy height shower. I prefer a handshower because it makes cleaning the shower itself so much easier. Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 22Apr 01, 2009 11:33 pm we've got the invigras as well but the standard fixed ones not the rail. I would have loved the rail sort but we've gone standard for now with the view to changing them later on. ( have a plumber friend if it turns out we can't do them ourselves.) Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 23Apr 05, 2009 4:04 pm Re the Irwell Invigra, price seems to be under $100. See: http://www.getstuff.com.au/irwell-invigra-hand-shower-on-rail-chrome.html Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 24Apr 05, 2009 5:07 pm So we went all out and have selected this one from Reece http://www.reece.com.au/bathrooms/products/9500515 (i can't post the image as it's too big) - has a big dumper shower head and a hand held one on the same unit - which one you use depends on whether you want to get your hair wet Not cheap - about $900 each After 4 years - we're in! Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 25Apr 05, 2009 6:16 pm donuts I have got the same as wakeboardandy, but i can't remember what they're called. WBA come and advise please. Well technically I have the same as you donuts as you had them first... Anyway here is the showerhead, the taps are what we will have in the bathroom, in the ensuite we will be having a flickmixer... Only thing I am worried about is that the showerhead might not be high enough. As with normal shower head you can tilt it up quite high, but this one you can't... I guess I will wait and see if it is a problem or not. http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff285/agardner5/genx.jpg Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 26Apr 05, 2009 6:32 pm Thanks Loretta, the Irwell one looks pretty well priced! WBA, I love the look of that one, but was talked out of the head because I was told they don't give a wide spray - hope that makes sense, is that true or was I just talked out of it? Stonecutter WOW! You're gonna enjoy your showers!! ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 27Apr 05, 2009 6:49 pm ICK I don't find the spray not to be wide enough. Interestingly the ensuite shower spray is narrower than the main bathroom one, but still not too narrow, and I prefer the ensuite one cause it means the water pressure feels harder. It looks narrow coming out of the head but spreads out nicely "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. I love the rail one for the kids, so handy to wash their hair with. The ceiling shower has great pressure but honestly, we hardly use it. I think if I was to pick one I'd take the rail shower head for sure Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 29Apr 06, 2009 7:55 am We have the rain shower "dumper" and I love it..... but: if I'd had the chance to use one before we built, I'd have added a rail shower as well. It's the hair-washing thing - it takes forever to rinse the shampoo out of your hair with the dumper. Lovely to stand under though. The kids just have a standard shower head. I'm with SuH - if they don't like it, they can leave home. Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen... Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 30Apr 06, 2009 3:39 pm Yeah, Nth Melb supporter. I bought that sort of shower head for my rental property from Gottliebs plumbing in Dandenong rd Carnegie, approx. under $100. I am not letting hubby choose anything for my new house. Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 31Apr 09, 2009 8:50 pm My husband and I couldn't agree. So I have the rail shower on one wall, and the opposite wall he has the normal spout. This is our long term house .... so didn't feel it was being too extravagent Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 32Apr 10, 2009 5:50 pm I got a Methven Satinjet which is on a rail. It's just the best. We bought a new place and I wanted to take it with me but my brother is moving in and has said he wants to keep it so we have to buy another one! Even when we stay in nice hotels we miss our Methven! Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 33Apr 19, 2009 12:41 pm We have this shower head in our house that we are renting at the moment.... It is Awful....water goes absolutely everywhere you dont need it. if you can see the screw thingy at the end... that screws in a series of plates which then inturn direct the water... if they are not lines up then the water shoots off in all directions except for downwards. As i am vertically challenged compared to my giant husband i have to do the dunk and run when washing my hair as it smack me in the eyes... I recommend you choose something else Sjay wakeboardandy donuts I have got the same as wakeboardandy, but i can't remember what they're called. WBA come and advise please. They have a very narrow beam (for lack of a better word) and if you turn the pressure up (to try to compensate for the lack of area they are saturating) they punish you with a spray thats like thousands of tiny piercing needles. I know some people like that feeling but not me. We will be going with a shower on a rail in the ensuite and main bathroom and also have a rain head hanging from the ceiling in the ensuite. Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 35Apr 19, 2009 10:54 pm [quote="sjayren"] It is Awful....water goes absolutely everywhere you dont need it. [quote="wakeboardandy"][quote="donuts"] Our one in the main bathroom does the same thing. I've found that if you turn it on flat out (before you get in, unless you are a sucker for punishment or into pain ) it clears out and shoots evenly, although its still very narrow and not pleasant. I have actually been considering buying a $20 job (that i know works better) and fitting it until we move out. Re: Shower heads - What have you got/decided on and why 36Apr 20, 2009 9:31 am Gee! I hope I haven't recommended you a lemon wakeboardandy!! seriously though, mine is fine. Doesn't spray everywhere, has good pressure and doesn't have the feeling of pinpricks all over your back (I hate that feeling too!). I could stay under there for hours!
