One cupboard housed the Washing Machine with Dryer on top and the other cupboard housed all our cleaning supplies. It just looked like another set of kitchen cupboards. I actually miss it!! it was so easy to do the washing and never was a mess like my laundry becomes. i found I did wash loads more often and you never forgot about the clothes in the washing machine!! This is what I'm doing for my new house. I've got 2 metres worth of cupboards that just extend the kitchen cupboards. When the doors are all closed, it will just look like a lot of kitchen cupboards. The first 600 mm is a cupboard with some hanging rails in it. This will be the drying room. Our washing machine spin dries the clothing so well, that just hanging up shirts and the like inside for a few hours dries them. It's also easier to iron them than putting them in a dryer (and much more convenient than using a clothes line). The next 1400 mm will be double bifold doors which will contin the laundry tub and then washing machine with dryer above it. Must admit, I haven't thought about where to store the pegs, ironing board and washing basket. Looks like a revision is coming up.
