I am thinking of porcelain tiles.
I saw in a display house today where they were used on the floor and carried all the way up the walls in the shower and around the bath hob.
This looked really nice. I am thinking of doing this with a chrome capping around the hob and on the top of the last tile, along with a stone strip mosaic border in the shower and up the side of the bath and up the wall above the bath. Would this look ok or should I forget about the feature tile and keep it all plain.
I was wondering due to them being high gloss would they be slippery in the shower and would you need to stand on one of those rubber mat things.
getting out of the bath shouldnt be a problem as you have a bath mat to stand on.
But I know normal ceramic tiles are slippery when wet and wondered if porcelain would be worse.
