We have just had a Kohler Freelance bath installed http://www.au.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/ ... 6051D&frm= which is supposed to fit flush on the floor however the builder has left a 1cm gap which he reckons couldn't be avoided. The problem now is that water, dust etc can now enter. He suggests we seal it up using mastic sealer or something similar. Any suggestions on how to fill this gap so that it isn't an ugly sight to the eye? Does anyone in Melbourne do this as we are not keen to attempt it ourselves. Also, if we try and get it installed 'correctly' then this means the gap will then be transferred to the top which means a gap where the bath sits in the tiles.
