Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jan 24, 2007 12:10 pm We have a choice to make between a polished silver or a white screen. The colour we select will also be the colour around the mirror. We will have chrome handles on a white vanity with polished silver tapwear and am thinking about the tiles on the floor. My husband wants a dark colour tile ( prob brown) and white walls so do you think the silver screen will look too much or would the white screen blend in better? What do others think? Re: Shower screen colour selection 2Jan 24, 2007 3:26 pm One considereration to also make is the colour you'll be painting the walls. Having said that though I think it'd always be best to go for the silver option. Looking at ours today it looks quite smart to have polished silver/chrome to all the hardware and mirror edges etc (remember also your towel rail, toilet roll holder etc). A white edge around the mirror just looks too plastic for my liking and the chrome seems to look smarter.
I can send a pic at some stage if I can get access. Re: Shower screen colour selection 3Jan 29, 2007 9:52 pm Always follow a flow… this meaning if you are having chrome tapes, rails and such, then this should also be so for the shower screen and mirror.
