Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Dec 17, 2008 7:20 am I am thinking of laminex limestone for benchtop. (or maybe luna stone)
What base colour would go best Antique White or Moleskin? I also like the Stipple coco and Stipple seal, but last time when I built I put a coloured benchtop in and then I was limited to keeping the towels the same tones, and with the ensuite my bedroom duvet etc had to stay the same. This time I want to allow myself to be able to change towels from chocolate to duck egg blue or burgundy if I feel like a change, so thought my first choice would work for this. This would come into effect more so in the ensuite than the main bathroom, so I suppose maybe I could use the latter choice in the main bathroom. If so which base colours would go best with these? Re: Keeping bathroom colours natural 2Dec 17, 2008 4:16 pm I'm no expert but I am having lunar stone tops with Moleskin cupboards in bathroom/laundry and ensuite.
The lady helping me suggested LImestone but I just didn't like it quite as much as Lunar Stone which we currently have and am happy with. HTH Edited to add that I will probably go with brown linens in the bathrooms Re: Keeping bathroom colours natural 3Dec 17, 2008 4:35 pm I can’t help you at the moment, my Laminex rep has my books, he’s updating them for me……yayyyyyyy!

I’ve just been through my new folder about 5 times and there’s no Antique White , which means they must be going to discontinue the colour! Bad move on Laminex’s part I would say! Either that or they have forgotten to give it to me, I hope the later. I quite like the limestone, and it looks good with the Moleskin plus the Parchment. Just a question, what are your floor and wall tile colours? I havnt even got to that part! I dont know what to choose, Usually I find a tile I like and match everything around that, but cant find one that jumps out at me. I have decided on laminex coco nougat for the kitchen benchtop and was thinking of new antique white or moleskin for the cupboards thats why I was looking at the same cupboards for the other rooms to make it easier to match the walls and doors all round. But then someone told me because I am having satin veneer kitchen they can be painted to any colour! so I will check it out and see if picking a paint colour would be easier. Also this time I am having white bath and basin and dont know what colour I should pick for bathroom tiles white with a border of feature tile or would a porcelin tile in an ivory colour all over work best. Then what do you with the architraves and doors should I do them white? So many questions and so little time to decide lol. I hope you can help me out. Im glad I came across this site!
