One year ago, we bought a 3 year old house built by H*N*LY. For some reason there is water damage in all three toilets upstairs. We first noticed this in the ensuite, then later on the other two toilets upstairs. We called the builder, and they are sending out an inspector. I'm not too optimistic about what they are going to say. I almost expect them to claim no responsibility. How can I convince them to take responsibility?
We had a professional opinion a few months ago from another builder telling us that H*N*LY doesn't membrane their tiles, and this is the result of all our shower areas leaking. Does anyone know if I can call H*N*LY on this? Is membraning tiles essential when tiling toilets, or is it not a requirement?
My issue is that now I have stains on the ceiling downstairs!
