Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Aug 23, 2022 1:37 pm Hi all We have a back to corner Acrylic bath being installed (bathroom Reno) - the builders install is a bit hard to understand. The short end has been placed into the wall (against the brick) then tiled down on top. The long end has been tiled first then a big 8mm or so gap between the bath and tiles siliconed in (very roughly in my opinion). Finally where the bath contacts with the floor it has no silicone at all ..just a 2mm gap... Does all this sound okay? It seems not quite right to me.. Thanks. Hi Alex, Thanks for the reply again. I had a chat with the builder, he said he will use primer, then hydrotec which comes with colour and sealer as well.
