Have left over tiles so matching the tiles wouldn’t be an issue, just hoping it’s a simple job and can change them 😂🙌 Re: Is it possible to change stainless steel floor waste to 2May 20, 2022 2:48 pm I had the tile insert floor wastes in my build for two showers, the tiler stuffed up and installed regular stainless steel ones. He had to dig up the tiles around the waste, put the correct one in and make it all look flush. I think they removed two sides of the tiles around the waste and then refit matching ones when they were done. They were doing a few other things on site so I don't know exactly how long it took, but they finished it in under two days, that included a bunch of grout work, installing tiles to other areas of the house, caulking stuff etc. I imagine if they just did the waste swap it can be done in under a day.
