Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 01, 2022 5:26 pm Recently started renovating my bathroom and against my better judgement I used stud adhesive and nails (timber frame) for the villaboard, my tiler told me to use stud adhesive otherwise he can't guarantee his work. I went ahead and used stud adhesive in between where I had nailed (every 200mm) as hey he's the professional so I trusted his advice ...I've now read conflicting info, am I going to have issues with the nails popping? What thickness of sheet are you using? Hardies supply very good installation manuals for their products. If it's not tiled adhesive and fixings at 200 centres is an approved method. I'd take the manufactures direction on fixing over a tiler.
