Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry Re: Crack in shower base 2Nov 16, 2021 3:49 pm simonjlee Hi all, I have a hairline crack (about 15 cm long) in the shower tray (I'm guessing it's acrylic). I couldn't feel any soft spots under the shower tray, so I've drilled 2 holes at both ends to stop it spreading, and covered it with PC-11 epoxy paste. It looked like that did the job, but after about a week, the epoxy itself cracked as well. I was trying a fibreglass repair kit on it, and if that doesn't work may have to get the thing replaced.
