I couldn't feel any soft spots under the shower tray, so I've drilled 2 holes at both ends to stop it spreading, and covered it with PC-11 epoxy paste. It looked like that did the job, but after about a week, the epoxy itself cracked as well. I was trying a fibreglass repair kit on it, and if that doesn't work may have to get the thing replaced.
