I have a bathroom that was renovated 4 years ago with new waterproof seal done on the new tiled area but the original vanity was left in place.
We now are removing the vanity to install a wall hung vanity for wheelchair access.
The space under the vanity did not get waterproofed in the reno 4 years ago and I can see the slab under the cabinet appears to have the original water seal still there from 21 years ago.
The tiles immediately in front of the vanity are being removed as well but I will just pop them up and just grind the glue off and not touch the bed or seal underneath as the new tile will go straight back on top.
What do you suggest?
Can you seal and join to the other seal which appears to be in place.
The attached pics in pic 3 show the new black water seal still attached to the timber piece of the old cabinet and I have attempted to not damage that too much
Please advise
