I am trying to work out how much it would cost. Builder is asking for $900+ just for the extra floor waste. Isn't it ridiculously expensive? Cheers, Thanks. We asked for something similar in our en-suite and the builder quoted $2500ish. Nearly fell of my chair and despite me arguing that the price was absurd, they never budged. So just went with the standard semi frameless with a door. Asked a mate who’s a builder and he guessed about $200-$500 extra in materials (depending on what waste you go with) and that the labour effort should be comparable. Anyway, if the told me $900 I probably would have done it, even though that is still way overpriced. Often with a hobless walk in shower it needs a reflux valve in the sewer line.
