Was just thinking also which I probably should have added to the original question, if I install a new sink above a flat bench so I remove the current laundry sink and cabinet that has the hole on the side for the washing machine hose, how would I now have the hose in a part of the drain to get rid of the water from the machine? Thanks Re: Laundry Cabinets 4Jun 17, 2021 7:59 pm garfield Thanks for that Chippy. Thanks You attach the washing machine drain to the new trap you install on the sink. The spigots are blanked off so you need to drill them out. The drain hose then pushes onto the spigot. Front loaders have a rubber end on the drain hose so that fit.
