Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Apr 26, 2021 6:57 pm Hi All, My first post here and I'm looking for some help understanding if I'm being over cautious here. I've just renovated the bathroom and purchased a bath online that had good reviews, 1300 dollars, it's been sitting on my balcony waiting until it was time to install it. Now that I've opened it and seen the construction it honestly looks like it could fall to bit at any moment. I'm hoping someone here has some experience in freestanding baths to reference against to tell me if this looks normal or not? My main concerns are Half of the brackets are held to the bath with a single wood screw The welds are 2 tiny spot welds on only some of the joins The crossbars on the frame going under the basin itself don't actually touch the basin and therefor offer no support? The things creaks and cracks like crazy when I stand it but that may be because it's new and settling. Thanks in advance to anyone who's seen or installed these before and can tell me if I should be concerned. I've already expressed my concerns to the company but they'll obviously say anything to get out of a refund. Cheers.
