Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Mar 05, 2021 8:42 pm Hi all, I've installed a mixed sensor tap (for a basin), where the hot and cold combine and in theory should output warm water through one one flexible hose (it was actually working this way at another house and relocated it to a new one.) The problem is, for some reason it is only producing cold/mildly warm water. As far as my (poor) knowledge and research tells me, I think I have the following options: - Install a tempering valve (I have seen other mixed taps have this but mine has a valve that just isolates everything) - Install an isolating valve on the cold side to throttle the amount of cold getting mixed, to increase the temperature of the mixed water I'm hoping I can do option 2 as it is more friendly to my budget. Would love to hear from anyone on the feasibility of these options or any other ideas?
