Hi over the past couple year l has noticed slight creaking noise on acrylic shower base , l guess there was slight movement, today l noticed a 10cm hairline crack . Can l get the crack repaired or do l need the whole shower removed and replaced. If l get the crack repaired and filled in would that just be a temporary fix if theres slight movement in the base or is it possible l might not get any more cracks in the future . How much would a new shower cost . l know a skilled handyman could a skilled handyman remove and replace a shower or do a need a builder or plumber which l guess would cost more. also would an insurance claim most likely fail?
