This is the floor plan of an attached granny flat proposed for my project. The total area of the granny is approx 46m2. At the moment, friend's opinion is that there is no storage space (apart from the wardrobe). So we are considering moving the tapware to washing machine into the bathroom, next to the vanity and get rid of the laundry tub in total. That "laundry" space becomes just open space and therefore provides flexibility to either install shelving or a study desk. Is that a good idea? Or does that space becomes dead space? Currently on the plan, there isn't even a door provided to the laundry space. So I will need to ask builder to include bi-folding door if keeping it as laundry or for shelving. Re: Opinion on Laundry 2Nov 24, 2020 5:52 pm Where is the flat? Will the user have access to a main laundry? How is it going to be used? Is the weather suitable for drying? Is there outdoor space? Two ideas- incorporate a washer into the kitchen or stack a washer and dryer in beside the stairs with a door? Countrybuilds Victoria Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6139 these look like missing batts. Go up and take a look. But yeah moisure meter is a completely different tool 4 9458 Agreed. I just found out today the certifier has not given the final sign off. 2 4091 |
