The drain is usually blocked and needs to be drilled out. My dryer drain hose is a fair bit smaller than that one. It's only 10mm, whereas the washer drain hose is 19mm. Hi Sam we have the same. We didn’t need the adaptor. I did go buy a clamp but didn’t use it. We pushed it over the inlet (ours are different angle to you?). I was a bit worried about the angle of the hose per their instructions but no problems so far. I was tempted to just keep emptying the dryer manually but happy we gave this a go. I do find I still have some water left in the dryer section (it doesn’t fully drain) but it doesn’t appear to cause issues. I’ve included a photo of ours - see bottom hose. The clamp is just there spare- not serving a purpose. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ oooooo..... do ou would you be able to get the branding from waste?
