Browse Forums Bathrooms and Laundry 1 Jul 03, 2011 1:05 am i really really want wall hung toilets - because they are so much easier to clean around but hubby is totally against them due to maintenance issues - would a solution be to have a half height wall (which could also double as a shelf) built in to house the cistern? here is a representation of the idea http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v470/ivory_kitten/Build%203/contemporary-3.jpg Opinions on wall hung toilets 2Jul 03, 2011 8:44 am Joles has them and hasn't had any issues after close to a year and a half. The other option is to go for close coupled toilets that don't have any nooks or crannies to clean. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Opinions on wall hung toilets 4Jul 03, 2011 9:28 pm Just remember to "ask" for back inlet as we got a wall facing toilet, didn't specify that the inlet be concealed and got the usual side inlet pipe. I think this is riduculous, why would you want a partially concealed system!?! But it was too late as the plumbing and tiling was already complete when we realised the inlet pipe was in the wrong place.
