Hi all
I have a 7 year old Braemar thm6x32 ducted gas heater with addon cooling. I've had nothing but problems with it since day one, but that's for another thread.
In February this year the motor seized and was replaced under my home insurance policy. When I first got the heater 7 years ago it had issues with error code 18 in winter which means condensation detected. I recall the installer came back and disconnected the condensation sensor on the unit in the roof as it was apparently a "common problem". Whether this contributed to the shortened life of the last motor I don't know or care at this point.
Long story short, I have a new motor, turned the heater on successfully for a couple of days this week and now keep getting an error 18 error code and the unit wont start. I'm sick of wasting time and money getting issues with this thing fixed and want to have a go at disconnecting the condensation sensor in the roof unit myself. How hard it is it to identify? I understand it's a matter of unplugging it from the mainboard of the unit.
Cheers
JT
