Hello, we are renovating a bathroom and toilet in an older home and got asbestos testing. The tiles off this wall were professionally removed and glue sprayed after. The walls are 0.76% chrysotile asbestos and we are getting them all taken out. However, the paper between the tiles and wall looks very fibrous. The asbestos professional (legit and certified) peeled some off to get the sample below but never mentioned the possible presence in this paper itself. The paper (brown) is actually very thin, like paper. I’m worried because it looks nasty and I have kids who use this toilet. Even though it’s been sprayed and undisturbed except for getting the sample I’m worried about exposure (but I am a worrier in general).
