I am wondering if anyone has any opinions or has tried installing under tile heating on a floor that is not a concrete slab? The house we are renovating is on brick piers so we are wondering if it works as well on piers, as people generally install it on slabs, so i am led to believe. thanks Re: underfloor heating, not on a slab 2Sep 22, 2008 11:48 pm can be done on timber floors, you need to place it up under the timber, then put insulation underneath so the heat is trapped in between the and the heat is forced to go into the floor.
