First the updraft blower turns on for a bit, then i can hear the igniter zapping away, then the gas turns on and the flames ignite fully and the big blower turns on. At this stage the unit will run but its time is unpredictable. Sometimes 8 mins other times 2 mins. Now once it shuts down the process is repeated but differently. This time the updraft blower turns on for a bit then may ignite if im lucky (5%) of the time but realistically it wont, all it will do is updraft blower turns on for a bit then i can hear it stop and reset and it continues to do this, again and again but if im lucky it will fire up but there is a good chance the same will occur and after the blowers turn on after a few mins it will reboot. I found if i turn off at the wall leave it for a few mins then turn back on it usually will ignite and fire up but then will shut off after 8-10 mins. (or) may stay on if im lucky If i keep repeating this process after sometime it will fire up and stay on, once its been running for a long period say 20 mins.. of time and the thermostat is satisfied it will turn off correctly then fire up when it needs to without any shut downs. It will work fine all day. Its as if it needs to warm up and once the unit itself is warm then it has no issues. Replaced control board, nothing changed Checked and cleaned duct, nothing happened Help me it's freezing..... Re: Omega ducted heating 2Jul 10, 2019 11:34 pm It's old omega ducted heating 12yrs .
