Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jun 09, 2019 6:16 pm Hi all, Our house has a solar hot water system on the roof. As a family of 4, we often run out of hot water, particularly in the winter months. The system has a boost setting which i can set the time of day for it to come on. Can anyone advise what sort of schedule should i set on the timer? Currently, I have it set for a few hours in the morning before we wake, and a few hours in the afternoon before showers/baths etc.. Thanks in advance! Justin 4 6827 the sun master is the solar heating to "warm" the water in the tank the S26 is your hot water system which will heat the water (25 degrees?) so with both turned on you… 2 14048 I’d go heat pump, efficient and you can have a large storage tank so you don’t run out. If the house is big it can take a while for the water to run hot. I was lucky… 1 302 |
