Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation Re: Air flow from the vent when the zone is OFF 19Mar 19, 2018 11:23 pm There's nothing wrong with the method of control of your system. The air supplied to the active zones still returns through the common return air intake and sensed by the indoor unit sensor. That said if you were after more exact control then you'd want sensors in each zone. Now with averaging sensors, if a sensor is in a zone with a high solar load, it would raise the averaged temperature sensed and bring on greater cooling or in the example of heating the opposite. How do you feel your system is operating? Are the conditions comfortable in your house? Is there excessive or inadequate compressor on cycles? Do you feel there's room for improvement? Sometimes people chasing absolutes end up dissatisfied or unhappy with an otherwise well functioning system. A mentor long ago knocked it into my thick head that air conditioning is an inexact science. hth How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5947 Good luck with it. I don't know what the cost of a nice bidet seat with a 25mm air gap will be but you are obviously deducting the cost of a RPZ valve and its… 9 6985 You may still have a case, but your next step is to speak to a lawyer. 3 1649 |
