We are about 1 km from the sea. Should we be concerned about this corroding the roof material? What is the typical life span of this type of roof? I have a Technical Bulletin TB-27 made available by Bluescope Steel which discusses this problem but I note it is dated November 2003 – perhaps they may still have some in print or perhaps updated it by now.
