Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation Re: Electric Fireplace 12Aug 12, 2008 4:22 pm If my personal experience with my son and grandsons is worth anything, the best approach is to give a tot a taste of what it means to be scolded/burnt by something in a very controlled and mild way, like just putting his lil hand a tad to close for comfort to a fire, with a proper warning. It won't work with an experimenting 5+ year olds, but for a kid of 2 should be good for a couple of years. I'd be interested in what they tell you about child safety, those fires do look wide open.
Chris My father rode a camel, I drive a car, my son flies in a jetliner, his son will ride a camel.Saudi saying Hi all, My first post, we are building a house and can’t decide the layout of the lounge room. We have a large N/W facing window and are wanting to have a wood slow… 0 13694 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11530 I would probably render it and then paint it as per your other advice, or gyrpock over the top. 1 3303 |
