We will have 2 more vents around the kitchen, in the living and dining areas. There will be also a ceiling exhaust in the kitchen. We are in Brisbane so we are focused on keeping the house cool. I would suggest to keep it as far away from your ceiling exhaust as you can manage as you could risk exhausting conditioned air out the ceiling exhaust rather than cooking air/steam. Do you also have a rangehood over your cooktop and if so, does it vent directly out or recirculate into the kitchen? How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents?
