Hey mate, are you comparing a ducted refrigerated system to a ducted gas heating system with possibly addon cooling? You are right to a degree with the duct losses but it's not really an apples to apples comparison. The roof is where you will lose most. Think about putting a lot more up there. Haha, think I must be losing it, not that I ever had "it" had it in the first place.
