Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jun 12, 2016 9:35 am I have just had a neo 1.6 freestanding heater installed. It won't burn overnight when fully flooded and airflow turned right down. The flue is straight and about 9 meters in length. I live on the side of a hill ( but nearer the bottom, almost valley like ). The top hat ( cowl ) is a normal one. Is there anything I can do to improve burns? Would a anti downdraft cowl be better or would it require a flue damper? Winds are not high at the moment. More info here: https://www.chimneysweeponline.com/hoebt.htm Might be worth while checking the ebt2 mechanism is operational and not stuck.
