I wouldn't get too fussed with the term far infrared. all it mean is that the panels are are warm. All warm bodies radiate infrared. I'm not impressed with the website with most pictures being of the outside of nice buildings, but not much relevance to the product in question. I agree Casa, I couldn't work out how it worked and a Google search of "Far-Infrared Wave Technology" led me to the "International Conference on Millimeter Wave and Far-infrared Technology"......can't wait for that one! mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: New heating ideas - far-infrared wave technology... 7Jul 28, 2008 8:46 pm "Far-infrared" is also known as "microwave" Do the hard jobs first. Re: New heating ideas - far-infrared wave technology... 10Jul 28, 2008 11:57 pm I've seen some sales pitches over the years, but this just goes way beyond it.....
The claims they make are; Quote: Market research suggests that consumers are in desire of a well-being heating system, that is environmentally friendly, energy saving & can provide added benefits that can: improve blood circulation promote immunity prevent cancer provide 99.9% sterilization restore energy stimulate red blood cells provide no dust, noise or vibration provide 73% deodorization provide no dryness or electromagnetic harm purify the air provide no gas or wind work as a natural antibiotic Bloody hell, it's a flamin' miracle, stop the research! This shing prevents cancer! And I dunno about this dubious "fact": Quote: 3. E.H.P (reverse cycle/split systems) - only in the last 20 years (1990's) I distinctly remember growing up with a Weatherwall R/C aircon used for cooling and heating, in the 70s & 80s..... I don't think I'd be adding this company to my shortlist - not from their wild claims, but from the simple fact they have a .com.au web address, yet the text on the page is hopeless "Chinglish" like you see in cheap assembly instructions for kids toys. If they can't be bothered re-writing a web page in proper English, then how would they be at making an effort to resolve a warranty claim?
