We are having zoned ducted heating in the house we are building. It's actually a bit of a funny house to zone, so we are only having two zones. I'm just wondering if it is possible to add extra zones later if the current zones prove inadequate? Jo I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Extra heating zones added later? 2Jul 22, 2008 8:09 pm Would ducted heating work the same way as ducted air-con? If so it shouldn't be a problem as long as it's: a) a single storey house and, b) the unit is sized to cope with future expansion.
I see a lot of people on here talking about ducted heating, I assume because they're in the southern states. They don't often mention air-conditioning. I'm curious to know if just installing zoned heating is better/cheaper than installing air-conditioning, which also gives you heating of course. Not sure of model. Will have to look through paperwork. There's 15 outlets and it's 36 sq if that helps anyone guess. Maybe B4-30? (guessing by the booklet)
We wouldn't need to add extra outlets, just maybe an extra zone or something to what is already there. There is already two zones so I thought there may be a way to simply seperate an extra zone?
