Yes - looks to be the answer. I'd only need one roll of 5 metre. Plus the dots.

Also looking into Lili's idea - which I like - and will be cheaper . Re: West Wall Issues ? 24Jan 03, 2016 8:18 am Tint should be pretty cheap. It costs about $300 to tint and entire car so you'd think a house window would be similar or less because it's a simple rectangle. Re: West Wall Issues ? 25Jan 04, 2016 5:31 pm Bunnings has cheap external sun blinds 2. 4 m x 2.4m by coolaroo for $99 as a special deal. I also just picked some up at Lincraft hugely reduced 2.4 x 1.8 high for $25 each in the post Xmas sales. For a couple of my other windows, I just made sun blinds since I already had some spare shadecloth. Re: West Wall Issues ? 26Jan 05, 2016 7:33 am Well - tint the best price. By far. 3 levels - might go middle. The idea of an awning was canvassed (pun intended) and it was not a bad price - from the 50% adverts in the paper. Louvres (colorbond) were by far the most expensive. Three times the material type and 10 times the tint. Re: West Wall Issues ? 27Jan 09, 2016 3:44 pm We went with tint - still looking at your idea Lilli - but Mrs SM likes things smooth and clean ... Might still go for the awning thingo too - it is half price and will be useful. BUT - it has cut the temp. It can get up to around 30 in that room - on a very hot day it got up to 26/27. So a vast improvement. Re: West Wall Issues ? 28Jan 09, 2016 4:37 pm 30 - oh you must be down south then! That's just a cool summer's day here!
