Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jul 16, 2008 2:06 pm Hi, I only moved in to this house 5 Months ago, so don't have any history at all of this heating system. Ever since we moved in, I have had little control over my heating/cooling blowing at the ceiling outlets. I have a Brivis gas furnace (MPS (version 1) Gas Ducted Heater) and add on cooling unit (Pioneer - with issues but for another time...!!) On the wall controller, (Brivis Wall Control Networker (version 1) there are two zones (Zone A - Downstairs and Zone B - Upstairs) On the selections, I can have zone A only, zone B only or Both or None. The problem is that for some reason, Zone B never switches off during any of these selections, there is never a voltage at zone B motor to switch it off, it is always on (until I switch it off totally at the wall controller) then it closes at it should. I just replaced the damper motors as I thought this might be the problem - but it is still the same. So, as it closes when switched off, and the voltage does go to the motor to close, does this prove the wiring is okay.? Could this be a wall controller issue or perhaps the network unit in the roof (Brivis Network 506) How can I test to prove what needs replacing to avoid another un-necessary purchase. I would appreciate your help, many thanks, Martyn. To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless.
