I want something quite easy on the electric bill, but does actually heat up the house quite fast. Any suggestions here? Do you have access to natural gas - or would you need bottles. Those old oil ones were good - and can be left on - great in bathrooms. Electric can be expensive. Have you considered a few split types - maybe in the right spots.
