Wondering if anyone has completed this process and recommend a company? I am in the Riverina areas and struggling to find anyone who can do it in the area. About 4 companies have given quotes but the travel from Syd and Mel is the killer Re: Retrofit Wall Insulation 5Apr 10, 2015 7:05 am I've seen the results of blow-in insulation a few years after it was done and there were a lot of places in the walls where there were voids left. A standard saying I have seen bandied about over the years is that if there is a 5% gap in the insulation it loses 50% of its effectiveness. Just something to consider.
