Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jul 18, 2014 5:21 pm Hi I am thinking of getting a split system air conditioner (or maybe 2 - one for the living space and one for the master bedroom). Does anyone know if there is a cheaper time of the year to get it installed? There might not be but I thought that come summer when everyone is sweating (me included) the cost of the unit and installation might be higher due to demand? Any tips in general for brands, sizes, installers, etc. would also be very helpful! My living space is about 50sqm and master bedroom 20sqm. Also the manufacturers like Panasonic and Fujitsu are giving cash back at the moment (and every winter). Panasonic, Fujistsu and MHI are good choices. I'd go 7kw and 2.5kw, but the installer will give you a better idea as it will also depend if you have west facing windows etc. 9 25003 Your house roof does not show rusting other than some surface rust on the flashings.
