Hi - hoping for some help - first time poster, long time lurker.
Architect specified Bradford Soundscreen insulation R2.0 for some internal walls. Builder has installed Fletcher Pink Batts Wall Insulation R2.0HD. Builder says that his advice from supplier was that the pink batts had better performance than the soundscreen. How can this be? Feeling like I am being misled on this when I emphasised how important getting the insulation right was to me. I thought initially the Pink Batts were the thermal insulation batts (these were Bradford Gold R2.5 in the specifications) - so the comment 'better performance' made even less sense.
Any advice for first time renovator?
Thanks
