Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 May 19, 2008 7:26 pm Hello,i have a Brivis ducted gas heater on the side of the house.Last year i had to remove all the ducting from under the house,because the mice got inside and rip it and crapped in it.
The problem i have now is that i didnt measure anything when i threw the duct to the tip. How crucial is it to have the correct lenghts of duct going from the main unit to the ducts throughout the house? I was getting a couple of quotes today for servicing a ducted heater....no problems. As soon as I said I also wanted to move a duct around to the other side of a room they said they send somebody out to give a free quote because it may impact on unit efficiency, airflow, and other jargony words. Three companies all said the same thing....
