Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation Re: Brivis ducted reverse cycle air con 2Dec 30, 2013 8:23 am I'm pretty sure that's what we've got. Is it the refrigerated one? We've been really happy with ours, works extremely well & that's including a 40 degree day a couple of weeks back. This is what we have: Complete with Brivis ICE 14.9kW add-on A/C Ducted to 13 appropriately sized outlets Complete with filtered return air system My Hamptons build (completed): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=63370 Moved in Wednesday 11th Dec 2013 Front landscaping completed June 2016 Re: Is brivis air con a good brand 6Jan 01, 2014 8:33 pm Hi there, I have done a fair bit of research into Brivis for my own build. I am going with the add on cooling Brivis Ice after handover and have upgraded the ducted heating that the builder will install. I would highly recommend "googling" a Brivis dealer in your local area and go in there with your electrical plan. I did this and was able to find out some very useful information which lead me to make a decision about going to Brivis direct for cooling after handover because of the $5000 price difference for the same product. That might not be the same for you but you might feel more comfortable having more information. Have you googled "reviews and comments" re Brivis ? Re: Is brivis air con a good brand 8Jan 08, 2014 2:29 pm Very happy with our heating and cooling so far, and our model seems down specced from yours. We only have 1st and 2nd level zoning, not room by room but that's fine. We have temperatures of 40+ here in Melbourne this week, Re: Is brivis air con a good brand 11Oct 03, 2014 12:13 pm We install Brivis on all of our projects and have not a single complaint so that to me speaks for itself. Re: Is brivis air con a good brand 12Oct 11, 2014 6:11 pm We have brivis ducted ac 18kw on a 24 sq living house works great but i would think it would struggle on a 36 sq i would go the biggest possible. All brivis ac is made by carrier, for a 36 sq house i would go actron 23 kw as i know 18kw it will struggle to cool on a 38 deg day even if zoned. How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5900 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
