I'm after a Victorian Style Mantelpiece. Around $2K to $3K for a decent marble one. Then there's the insert - probably around $500. And you'll need a hearth - usually tiles. They can be anywhere from $200 up depending on what you get and how much area you want to cover. Granite slabs at about $500 look good.
