Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Aug 01, 2013 11:42 am Hi there, We are building an mcdonald jones bronte acreage style design with action air system ESP Plus. The house design is wide and has master bed down one 'wing' and home office next to common kitchen/living areas in centre then remaining 3 bedrooms and rumpus down other 'wing' end. Zone setup as follows: Zone 1: Master Bedroom & Home Office Zone 2: Home Theatre, Great Room, Meals & Kitchen Zone 3: Activities Room & Study/Library Zone 4: Beds 2, 3 & Guest Room Our actron air system only allows for 2 sensors so where best to place? The proposed setup currently is planned to give us one controller outside master bedroom with remote sensor in the master bedroom. Note return air vent in hallway near master bed. Would I be better off having the remote sensor down the other end of the house? Please help I understand actron is a very good system but I want to make sure we set it up best? Being you already have one sensor in the the hallway close to the return air grille possibly zone 2 would be the optimal place to locate the other sensor but distanced from the kitchen as you don't need false temperature sensing from cooking heat.
