Browse Forums Heating, Cooling & Insulation 1 Jun 01, 2013 7:53 pm HI. First post here in your very handy forum. We have just installed a second hand wood heater. first fire we lit filled the house with smoke. I extended the flue and changed the hat on it and it now draws quite well once it is warm. I have also resealed the glass in the door. tonight it was going great after fixing the flue then after about 2 hours without warning it started billowing smoke from what seem to be the back of the fire box. we had to put it out to stop the smoke. I can not find any unintentional wholes or cracks in the fire box. the baffle plate is bent out of shape but is welded in and would require and oxy to cut it out and replace. any ideas are appreciated. thanks Matt Hi team, Im looking for a second hand sd4b monitor preferably white. 0 8920 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair But if it is a ground level open pit, then it is not a charged system.
