Hi,
We have had a Braemar THM6X32 ducted gas heater installed and for the most part it does appear to be working well in the main part of the house and it is very nice not having to wear full snow gear to bed
The install is 4 separate zones with Spectrolink controllers. With this setup we do not have to have the primary zone heating to heat any other zone in the house i.e. each zone works independently.
We have a laundry and what we call the dog room off the main house via the garage. The dog room is 4.2 x 4.0 and joins onto the laundry which is 4.6m x 1.7m. The doors into the garage are sealed at the base and the windows are double glazed and all walls including the garage are insulated.
The other day at 9am it was 14 degrees when I put the heating on for this zone for 23 degrees, at 10am it was 17 degrees and at 11.32am it was 20 and at 12.00 it was 22 degrees.
As a comparison I tested this area in the afternoon with an electric heater. at 2.30pm it was 16 degrees and at 3.30pm it was 21 degrees.
I have no experience with central heating and even less with gas heating. Is the above times good or bad for the heating system we have?
thanks,
